“ Very thorough menu for breakfast, lunch and now dinner until 7pm. Everything we’ve had at Windmills had been great and reasonably priced. Not fancy, but very comfortable with friendly staff. Some favorites include: fish and chips, crispy chicken salad, club sandwich, chicken sandwich and more. Large servings usually allow for “doggie bags” for a snack later. Our favorite place for lunch! ”

“ I was going to eat at that other place around the corner but I couldn't find a place to park, so when I spotted a spot right in front of the Windmills Cafe, I nabbed it. The Homeless Wanderer that approached me explained that the crime rate has escalated dramatically since he's come to town, and he'd be willing to make sure nobody breaks into my truck while I'm in the restaurant...for a small fee of course. He said the chicken and rice dinner is excellent here and the wait person will be happy to bring it right out to me while I guard your truck! It's a small price to pay, so I agreed...and the chicken and rice dinner was Amazing! 5 Stars ”
“ My gf and I are from the central valley, heading up to Ft. Bragg we stopped here and it was the best experience thus far. Very friendly staff, clean environment, and excellent service and food! Gf had the Giant Cheeseburger, couldn't finish it but it was great. I had the Santa Fe burger and it was cooked perfectly, fries were crispy, overall 10/10. Definitely reccomend this to others who come in from different areas. Keep up the great work there staff! ”
